So what is affiliate marketing. Simply put, it's the marketing of another person's or company's goods which allows you to earn a commission on the goods sold. You the affiliate, will promote goods that are owned by a person or company and then, find strategic ways of making a sale. You will receive a percentage of that sale, which is your commission.

I know you are probably thinking that affiliate marketing would not be for you because you don't think you're good at sales and a hundred other reasons. I know because I was one of those persons. I was skeptical about selling products that weren't mine, where would I find people who were interested to buy the products, and....the list of my negative views went on.

However, here I am today doing the very thing I was afraid to. Did I lose my fears overnight? Of course not. My desire to find a suitable way of earning a stable income, that would allow me to give up the 9 to 5 job, lead me to start doing some research. What I discovered was that there are many jobs being offered online, but not many were able to provide the income and level of freedom I was yearning for.

Then I took a closer look at affiliate marketing and realized that, if it was done right, then this would definitely be the career I was searching for to fill most of my desires. What could I expect from affiliate marketing? Privilege to work for home and still have time for myself and family, able to work from anywhere I wanted to, even while travelling and high monthly income,

Please note that I did say "If it was done right". Affiliate marketing, just like any other successful business, takes dedication, determination and some training. When I made up my mind that I would do affiliate marketing, I dedicated my time to do as much research as possible, along with getting relevant training.

The beauty about affiliate marketing is, you don't need a $1 to become an affiliate. We also have to our advantage the internet, that can provide relevant information, if the source is right. Yes getting training is important. It helps you to get a better understanding and appreciation for this type of business.
